A Room of One's Own
Firebrand Theatre Company with Live Borders Arts & Creativity and Duns PlayFest presents A Room of One’s Own – dramatised from the writings of Virginia Woolf.
After its sell-out premiere at Duns PlayFest, award-winning Firebrand Theatre Company is thrilled to return to The Maltings, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Eastgate Theatre, Peebles and to debut at Melrose Corn Exchange with its new and ambitious adaptation of A Room of One’s Own.
Performed in the round by Ellie Zeegen and directed by Richard Baron, this one woman show engagingly showcases why Virginia Woolf’s brilliant, funny and richly entertaining play, written almost one hundred years ago, has become one of the most significant feminist manifestos of its time, and any time.
